2009: After spending the spring with the major league club (Colorado Rockies), Hynick was assigned to the Class AAA Colorado Springs Sky Sox.
2008: After spending the spring with the major league club (Colorado Rockies), Hynick was assigned to the Class AA Tulsa Drillers. He was named Texas League pitcher of the week on 8/11/2008.
2007: Was named by Baseball America as Colorado's Minor League Player of the Year...named the California League Pitcher of the Year as he led the league in several major pitching categories...was the league leader in wins (16), ERA (2.52), innings pitched (182 1/3) and complete games (three)...his 136 strikeouts were the third-most in the California League and his innings pitched led all Minor League pitchers...named the organizational pitcher of the month for Apr....did not allow an earned run throughout the month as he posted a 3-0 record with no ERA in 32 innings, with 22 strikeouts, three walks and one complete game...was a California League Mid-Season and Post-Season All-Star...named the California League Pitcher of the Week for the week of Aug. 20-26 when he went 2-0 with a 2.08 ERA (13 IP, 3 ER) and nine strikeouts...named by Baseball America as a Class A Advanced All-Star...named the Class-A Advanced Starting Pitcher of the Year by MiLB.com...posted 22 quality starts in 28 total starting assignments...along with Alan Johnson and Chaz Roe, formed a trio of starting pitchers for Modesto that went a combined 35-23 with a 3.26 ERA (189 ER/521 1/3 IP) in 83 starts (54 quality starts), with 386 strikeouts compared to 151 walks, all while finishing 1,2,3 in the California League in innings pitched (Hynick, Roe, Johnson)...had 10 consecutive quality starts from July 8-Aug. 26, going 7-2 with a 1.90 ERA (15 ER/71 IP) over those 10 starts...threw a two-hit complete game shutout with seven strikeouts in Apr. 30 win at Inland Empire...had season-high 11 strikeouts in complete game win on July 8 vs. Bakersfield...opponents hit .243 against, as lefties hit .273 (80-for-293) and righties .222 (90-for-406)...named by Baseball America as having the best changeup and best control in Colorado's Minor League chain.
2006: In just his first professional season, Hynick was named the Pioneer League Pitcher of the Year...tossed just 5 quality starts, but allowed 3 runs or less in 11 of 12 starting assignments...earned first professional win on July 4 vs. Ogdenafter tossing 5.0 innings and allowing one earned run on 4 hits...named Pioneer League Pitcher of the Week on two occasions:July 17-23 (6.0 ip, 0 er) and August 7-13 (1.59 ERA, 11.1 ip, 2 er)...did not factor in the decision in each of those 3outings during which he won the award....earned Organizational Player of the Month accolades for July after going 3-1,1.29 (28.0 ip, 4 er) with 31 strikeouts in 5 starts...fanned at least 6 batters in 7 outings and registered season-high 10 K'son July 20 vs. Great Falls...was named to the Pioneer League's Post-Season All-Star team...was transferred to Tri-Cityon August 25 and appeared in just 2 games for the Dust Devils, posting no record with a 2.57 figure (7.0 ip, 2 er).
